Monopol

Mieści się na parterze wrocławskiego hotelu Monopol i jest jedną z dwóch jego restauracji (obok Acquario na szóstym piętrze) – tą bardziej casualową.
Duże okna, marmurowe kolumny i dekoracje w stylu art déco nadają przestronnemu wnętrzu dostojeństwa.

W krótkim menu opartym na wysokiej jakości świeżych składnikach znajdziemy klasyczne dania w nowoczesnej aranżacji; uwagę zwraca m.in. idealnie usmażony okoń morski. Warto też docenić znakomicie przygotowane warzywa będące dodatkami do dań głównych – są zawsze chrupkie i dobrze doprawione.

Restauracja wyróżnia się też bardzo obszerną kartą win – głównie włoskich, ale też francuskich i hiszpańskich.

W sąsiedztwie hotelu mieści się Opera Wrocławska. Monopol to świetne miejsce, aby umówić się ze znajomymi na kolację przed spektaklem lub po nim.

It is located on the ground floor of the Monopol Hotel in Wrocław and is one of its two restaurants (the other being Acquario on the sixth floor) – the more casual of the two.
Large windows, marble columns, and art déco–style décor give the spacious interior a sense of grandeur.

The short menu, based on high-quality fresh ingredients, features classic dishes in a modern interpretation; the perfectly cooked sea bass is particularly noteworthy. It’s also worth appreciating the excellently prepared vegetables served with the main courses – always crisp and well seasoned.

The restaurant also stands out for its extensive wine list – mainly Italian, but also French and Spanish.

The Wrocław Opera is located next door to the hotel. Monopol is a great place to meet friends for dinner before or after a performance.
