President of the Bocuse d'Or Poland Academy, Executive Chef of Browar Warszawski, and one of Poland’s most recognized culinary professionals, Adam Chrząstowski is a chef, mentor, culinary expert, and passionate advocate of modern Polish gastronomy.

He graduated from the Gastronomy Technical Secondary School on Poznańska Street in Warsaw and later earned a degree from the Faculty of Christian Philosophy at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. His first professional experiences in the culinary industry were gained through work and travel in Germany, Greece, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, where he became familiar with diverse culinary traditions and international hospitality standards.

His professional career began in 1992 at the prestigious Bristol Hotel in Warsaw, where he progressed through every stage of the culinary profession. In 1996, he joined the opening team of the Sheraton Warsaw Hotel, managing the kitchens of the Some Place Else and Lalka restaurants. Between 1999 and 2000, he served as Manager and Coach of the Polish National Junior Culinary Team.

In 2001, he moved to China, where he managed the Hunters and Tropicana restaurants in Shanghai, both owned by the Troy Group. Upon returning to Poland in 2003, he became Executive Chef and Deputy Director of Food & Beverage at Hotel Rialto in Warsaw.

From 2007 to 2014, he co-created Ancora Restaurant in Kraków, which was recognized six times in the prestigious Michelin Guide. He later served as Executive Chef of Ed Red restaurants in Kraków and Warsaw, earning recognition from Gault&Millau, Michelin Guide and Slow Food Poland.

Adam Chrząstowski has played an active role in the development and promotion of Polish gastronomy. In 2011, he was appointed Chief Culinary Consultant during Poland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. In this role, he was responsible for maintaining the culinary standards of high-level diplomatic events organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and for promoting Polish cuisine and food products on the international stage.

He is also well known to television audiences as co-host of Kurt Scheller’s Culinary Alphabet and as the creator and host of several culinary programs broadcast on Kuchnia+, including Adam After Work and Adam Online: Tips and Tricks. In addition, he is a columnist for Food Service magazine and the author of numerous culinary articles and blogs.

Today, as President of the Bocuse d’Or Poland Academy and Executive Chef of Browar Warszawski, Adam Chrząstowski continues to support the development of young culinary talents, promote excellence in gastronomy, and represent Polish cuisine both nationally and internationally.
